Here is a selection of my soundscape recordings and compositions. They feature recordings from both the natural world and urban environments. Some of the compositions include multiple recordings, some processed, layered together. Many of these are binaural recordings and sound best through headphones.

Thunderstorm - Telinga Pro with StereoDat microphone into a HHB Portadisc minidisc recorder. Recorded in Devon is 2002.
Farmyard Dawn - Telinga Pro with StereoDat microphone into a HHB Portadisc minidisc recorder. Recorded in Devon in 2002.
Reading Town Hall Clock - Soundman OKM-II Binaural headset Mic into a Sony MZ-R30 minidisc recorder. Recorded in April 2005 outside Reading's town hall just before 3 o'clock (BST) including 3 o'clock chimes.
Droplet - A simple water droplet is expended into a miraid of microsounds that build to a climax and them ebb away as the energy in the droplet dissipates. Sennheiser MKH 50 into Sound Devices SD772 Harddisk recorder. Processed in Adobe Audition from the sound of a single droplet of water.
Bats by the River - Bats: Bat Detector into HHB MPD 500 Minidisc recorder; water: Sony ECM MS 907 Single Point Stereo microphone into Sony MZ 30R Minidisc recorder. Sounds processed and layered in Adobe Audition. Recordings included: Waterfall at Cantonteign Falls in Devon, and Bats recorded in Berkshire. All recordings were made in 2002.
